Hello everyone,
I have an Intel S5520SC server mobo with two Xeon E5645 Processors and an ATI Radeon HD 5700 GPU. I work in the 3D and Video Compositing industry so apparently the ATI is the weak point of my build.
I have two simple questions:
1- What nVidia Card will be compatible with my mobo? It has two PCIe x16 slots and supports up to 1333 MHz Memory speed and DDR3 Memory slots. It would be also a HUGE plus if that GPU supported SLI as I'm planning to replace my Mobo in the near future (this one doesn't support SLI).
I plan to use this GPU for Rendering purposes using CUDA cores as well as Real Time 3D visualization.
2- If I would keep my old build as is, what would be the best way to link it to my new build for 3D Rendering purposes?
Thanks!!
