Added 8tv of Kingston Hyper FuryX @1333mHz to my machine and I can't press F12 to get to the Boot Menu or get toBIOS

Solution

No I was just planning on using 8gb. I found a solution, however. I did something with "not going over RAM limit" in my bios, and 8gb shows up on my Computer properties, but only 3.18 GB is usable!
Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards can be very sensitive to this.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.

Remove the new ram.
In the bios, increase the ram voltage a notch.
Often added voltage is needed to manage more sticks.
Test with memtest86+.
You should get NO errors for a full pass.
You might also test the new ram by itself.

My computer (A gateway dx4840) has a really basic BIOS. The motherboard is made by American Megatrends and is kind of weird. In what tab can I find the place to increase the RAM voltage? (I tried enabling turbo for the RAM or something) Thanks.

A basic motherboard will not have a bios that allows such controls.

Do you really need more than 8gb?
For the most part you really should not need it.

If you really do want 16gb, return the ram you bought and buy a supported 16gb kit of 2 x 8gb.
Go to the Kingston web site and access their ram configurator app.
Enter your pc make/model, and you will get a list of supported upgrades.
