Run DirectX 11 games on a DX10 GPU?

This is possible according to the following two videos:

The comments seem to indicate that some people got it working (sometimes well, sometimes with poor FPS), while others had no luck. I was trying this on an old laptop with Divinity : Original Sin Enhanced Edition. While not a very demanding game, it nonetheless requires DX11. While one commenter mentions that he got the game running, it just crashes for me.

Anyone else try this? I've also noticed that Win10 users don't seem to have much luck, which happens to be what I have on my old laptop.

Nope it won't work.
This is something a software can't do.
DX 11 support depends on the hardware capability.
Nvidia 400,500,600,700 and 900 series support DX 11
AMD, ATI 5000,6000,7000,200,300 series support DX 11 as well.
