Hello, so i recently had to reinstall windows 8.1 on my computer and then windows 10 because of a booting error. I had all my user files saved on my (D:) HDD parition, but installed the new OS on my (C:) SSD partition. When i tried to access those files, the folders (Pictures, Documents, Music etc.) were gone, but i used programs like easeUS and they showed me it was all still somewhere on the harddrive. I have hidden folders activated, i looked at the windows.old file (empty) and i tried to look in every possible place i could, is there something else i could do?
Thank you in advance for the help!

Perhaps when you installed windows it created a C: and D: partition on the one drive. {esp if there were existing partitions}
Run/search diskmgmt.msc and assign that second drive a letter like S: or see what letter is assigned to it already.

edit - there's also a chance that windows is hiding the contents because it thinks you are not the owner.
If the drive letter is correct and you cant see anything then try taking ownership of the drive. I've used this method successfully many times in the past. http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3841-take-ownership-add-context-menu-windows-10-a.html
