Remove ram while pc turn on

Solution
Good chance you fried the ram and or the motherboard. Removing most parts when the system is turned is a very bad idea, very few parts support hot-swapping.

Dude I had this same exact problem not to long ago and sadly it lead to my motherboard being fried. If you take out compnents while the computer is on or turn on the computer when something isn't put in correctly odds are the motherboard is dead. I had this problem and had to pay to get a new computer, get my OS switched over to the new computer and my GPU switched over. Cost around $400+. The computers is far better than my last one but meant me paying little over $400 to fix the issue. To be clear the computer itself cost $400 and the fee to get everything transferred was $50

The place if took it over to was highly rated and very well known where I'm at (C and P distributing). The reason why I couldn't get a new mother board was because they only had Intel and Nvidia stuff there and my mother board was AMD. They could not get an AMD onto a Intel motherboard.

And I refused to go to Best Buy as I have had bad experiences with them. My new specs are as follows (strap in)
1.ATX 611 black case
2.350W power supply
3.intel DG41KR mother board
4.intel core 2 quad Q8300 2.5
5.4 GB RAM DDR3
6.sandisk 128GB X400 SSD
7.1TB HDD
8.LG 22xDVD-RW drive
9.nvidia GeForce gtx 650 2 GB (also has Intel HD graphics with HDMI out)
10.realtek HD audio
11.realtek gigabit LAN
12.4x rear USB 2.0 ports
13. 2x front USB ports
14. Windows 10 home 64 bit operating system
What I mentioned above is way better than what I had before which is this:
1.Nvidia GeForce gtx 650 2GB
2.AMD Athlon x2 II 240 2.80
3. 4 GB of RAM DDR3
4. 500 GB HDD
5. 2x front 2.0 USB PORTS
6.3x back 2.0 USB ports.

Got a better computer out of he deal as my old dell Inspiron with that old crusty Athlon just needed to be put down lol. Some of the hardware like the HDD and the gtx 650 2GB where moved to the new rig including the OS (Windows 10 home 64 bit operating system)
