Hello friends,
I am looking for purchasing a laptop. No specific budget set but I want the value for my money.
My choices are:
1. HP Envy 15t - $889
i7-6700hq, 16GB DDR3-1600Mhz RAM, On board graphics, IPS 1080p screen
2. ASUS ROG GL552VW - $1249
i7-6700hq, 16GB DDR4-2133Mhz RAM, GTX 960m 4GB, IPS 1080p screen
I will be running a VM on these laptops and also I am a casual gamer. Having a good screen on a laptop matters to me. I had a look at both of these laptops in person. Both of these laptops have a decent screen. Don't need anything hardcore and gaming is not a priority for me but if $1249 for the given ASUS config is good value for the money then i'll go for it. Also it would be really helpful if someone can tell me about the DDR3 vs DDR4 RAM in these notebooks. Will the DDR4- 2133Mhz be better as the capacity of both the laptops is same at 16GB.
