I dont really plan on overclocking but I cant decide whether i get a cpu cooler like the hyper 212 or to get a water cooler. If I get the water cooler will I ever need to clean it and refill it and stuff like that? The water cooler is the Asetek 550LC 120mm. The PC is already prebuilt.

Solution
Unless you want to go about $100 or more, stick with air, like the EVO or the H7 from Cryorig, both are great coolers and will cool better than many/most of the lower end water coolers

Contrary to belief liquid coolers aren't completely silent, as even though it doesn't have a fan, you should be putting one on it. The suggestions he made are not very loud, if you are concerned about sound Noctua makes some excellent coolers for a bit more than a 212 that are virtually silent, and would be quieter than using the liquid cooler you mentioned..

If you aren't going to overclock the liquid cooler is a waste of time and money. And with a liquid there is always a chance it could leak and ruin your stuff. Not worth that risk if you aren't even getting any benefit.
