I was wondering which type of ram will be best for my Skylake based PC.
I'm buying a Z170 mobo and K series processor.
I'm planning to Overclock my PC and play all the latest games.
I want my PC to perform as fast as possible.
so, which RAM will be fast and best?
1. 8GB DDR4 3733MHz cas 17
2. 16GB DDR4 3000MHz cas 15
3. 8Gb DDR4 4000MHz cas 19

I was thinking the same..... :p


but, as you say for better overclocking and other performance I don't need high frequency RAM. just the sum of frequency and CL should be right.....and the more the capacity the more better..
right??

ram speed does absolutely affect in-game performance... by a lot too
