Hello,
I play CS:GO at around 100-200 fps, but I know my system is capable of more. Firstly, I have unlocked the FPS and unparked my cores. I have set the launch options to "-high -threads 6 -nod3d9ex -nojoy" and I managed to get another 30 or so fps. My components are as follows:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz
GPU: ASUS GTX 970 STRIX 4GB
Ram: Kingston Hyper-X 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
Case: Coolermaster K380

Before you say, yes I have updated my graphical drivers.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Its a cpu bottleneck and nothing to do with the rest of the system really. Its not a bad cpu bottleneck though haha you still get 100-200fps. The cpu can only feed the gpu information so fast before the gpu ends up waiting for the cpu to finish. Comparably with my 3570k at 4.8ghz I get around 200-300 but I think 300 is the max for the engine I believe. I use a 144hz monitor and without one, you wouldnt see any benefit past 60fps.

Superkoopatrooper,

Cheers mate.

I thought it was a CPU bottleneck but before I went out and bought a new one, I wanted to just make sure.

Also, CS:GO is locked at 300fps by default. Typing 'max_fps 0' will unlock the fps, so you might be able to get a little more out.

Thanks again, mate.
