Hi there,

Hoping someone could offer some advice…

I am looking for an available router which has the option to switch off the wifi completely while still being able to use it via wired/ethernet connection

Do any particular current brands or models provide this feature?
The only one I could find that seems to have the feature is the ASUS DSL-AC68U

Does anyone know if this is possible with any of the latest BT; netgear; apple or other routers

Failing that can anyone advise on a good wired router (available to purchase in uk) for home business use?

I have been using a TP-link TD-8816 but it's pretty slow and would like to something with improved performance.

Thanks!

Solution
This is possible on all the ones I have used that have both wifi and ethernet. It should be an obvious setting in the wifi section of the routers admin panel.

Ok great. Thanks for the feedback popatim.
I was thinking this would be a physical button on the router itself (like on the ASUS mentioned I believe)
I guess I will just make sure to confirm it's the case that it can be done via the admin panel for the specific device when buying
