hi
i just want to know whether the way i overclocked my 6600k is the safe and standard one or not ,since it is my first time i have taken the risk to do it and I don't have enough knowledge about overclocking.
i went to the bios of my asus z170a , then i defaulted all the settings after that i went to Ai Tweaker and changed the Ai Overclock from auto to manual next i entered 46 in cpu core ratio and i changed the vcore to 1.234 .the xmp is disabled.i didn't touch any other parts of the bios settings. i ran AIDA64 stability test for 30 minutes without any problems.the maximum cpu temp was 66c.
Is it safe to make the system work with the above mentioned settings ?
my cpu cooler is coolermaster hyper tx 3
my memory is 2*4 g.skill z 3200
my psu is corsair 650watt
what else do you recommend to make best out of it?
thanks

i started from 1.2v and it failed the stability test.
now i decreased core ratio to 45 and vcore to 1.2 ,so far it is ok
what do u think?
