Hello,
First off id like to apologize if this was posted in the wrong section, im brand knew to the site(making acc and posting). I cant thank this site and its community enough for all the help its given me. This is my first ever post.. here is my problem.

Yesterday i built my PC, here are some specs;

Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
ASRock Z97 Extreme3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Corsair Vengence 16GB DDR3-1600 Memory
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
AsusGeForce GTX 980 4GB STRIX Video Card
Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronzw Certified PSU

My issue is that randomly when im using my pc it suddenly freezes and a buzzing sound plays through my speakers. I did some troubleshooting like turning off turbo speeds in BIOS, disabling all but one sound driver.

I did more research and I possibly thought it was the PSU or RAM. Ive looked a lot online and Ive seen nothing but bad reviews on my PSU but alsi I decided to use Memtest v5.01 to test RAM but as of now it has encountered 1080 errors. Another thing about Memtest that it looks like its frozen. It also did reboot a few times as well.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated. I hope i will be any to fix this PC soon because i need it for work/school so im a bit desperate.

Yes the PC stays frozen and makes the sound for about a minute until it restarts. I am using the most updated nvidia drives, i updated them last night

Yes, it freezes then restarts then freezes again. Its like a continuous loop. It freezes randomly. The first time it froze in ~20min and the second time it froze in ~1hr.

The Corshair or Insigna one (probably both)? Which PSU would you recommend? I'm so new at this.

Ok. I might think there's no biggie there :) Lots of guys reported crashes after they've installed the latest nvidia drivers. Go back to a previous driver version. After that do a stress test. Let's see what happens. Don't disassemble your system just yet

Oh I just noticed you said that your computer freezes and stays that way for a minute or so. In my experience if there's a psu related issue that usually restarts the system immediately.

I used Cinebench to test my CPU and GPU. The GPU worked fine with updated drivers but my pc crashed when I installed the older drivers. My CPU at first crashed this test but passed the second one.
