So I had to clean the bottom of my CPU because little lint was there, so I got q-tip + those cloths with alcohol in it,70% isopropyl, moist the q-tip and gently cleaned the lint, now the CPU looks more dirty than before,do I need to let it dry or something? should I buy 90% isopropyl alcohol and use that instead?
The CPU in question is a I5 4460

Yes I thought you always needed to clean with alcohol :(,so If I let it dry, it will be like new?,that residue will go away eventually? it looks like there's mist in some pins, like some of them don't shine when light is upon them,

Oh I see, then I will just store it in his package and leave it there until my new mobo arrives, I have microfiber cloth (the one that comes with glasses) is that ok instead of toothbrushes? I don't have any soft one at this moment neither money to buy one

No a microfiber cloth will not work. It will not get in between the pins and clean out the goop you left there. Also it is likely to catch on the pins and bend them. I suggest you go clean your sofa as you may find enough change to get the 3 to 5 dollar price of a baby tooth brush (or similar soft brush). Seriously every one of your PC parts cost some large multiple of what such a brush would cost.
