Okay, so I just rebuilt my PC, basically from head to toe. I already had a GTX 980ti I purchased about a month ago, which influenced this system upgrade. So yesterday, I just got all my parts in the mail for my PC upgrade: Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero mobo, Intel i7-6700k CPU, Samsung 850 Evo 500gb SSD, GSkill DDR4 3200 8gb (4x2) Ram, and Cooler Master 212 Evo Heatsink. So with all parts installed, the systems posts and I install windows 7 onto fresh SSD. I lauch windows and install all drivers, also installed Blade and Soul then played it for a while. Then I decide to install Aion. After I install, I launch and the heatsink fan spools up pretty fast and then bam... BSoD. I thought, oh well I know sometimes these can just happen for no reason. So I try again and bam... BSoD at the same moment. Its happening right after the loading screen gets to 100%, the heatsink fan spools up fast and then blue screen. I thought it might be my ram, so i remove one and repeat the lauch process. Still I get BSod. So i remove the other and same thing. So I happen to have a new 250 Sandisk SSD laying around, so I remove the 850 Evo to see if it is the problem. I install windows 7 and all hardware drivers (lengthy process) onto new Sandisk SSD. Then I install Aion on new SSD and same BSoD. So i then swap out my 980ti back to one of my 660ti gpu's and still BSoD on Aion launch. The only other two items i have is the new Maximus VIII Hero Mobo or the new i7-6700k skylake CPU. But these are all new items and I know that you can in rare situations recieve bad parts straight from the vendor (my first 660ti had to be RMA'd) but it is rare. Also i should add that i installed bluescreenview software and it kept showing that the fail was coming from ntoskrnl.exe driver. I did some research and that usually has to do with memory. But, ive checked both the ssd and the ram, unless i did not test well enough then they both seem fine. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am at a loss. Please help me.

Omg thank you so much for helping. Lol, i have the BlueScreenView software but i was messing with it earlier and I cannot figure out how to post the reports without it being all jumbled together.

Bug checking and analyzing using debugger is reports jumbled and crazily put together, just have to know what your looking for.

Sorry my programs are on a home pc so I can't analyze yet. Midnight est, jut make sure you post your dumps for me, thanks

Sorry man, I actually need the dump files so I can upload them it my debugger. You can do this by loading the crash dumps into drop box then posting the link to the Dropbox where I can download

Yes, copy the file and upload it to drop box , just make a Dropbox account, it's quick and easy.

Or you can try emailing the dump files to me, just pm for email.

Alright, I only had a little bit of time to check it out, but it is hardware related, a possible fix I would reccomend is updating your BIOS on your motherboard, this may actually solve your issues.

1-The mobo you have does support 3400mhz based on your CPU, your CPU supports up to 2133mhz, and higher if you OC, any ram over 3000mhz you will need to overclock your CPU so that the memory controller in the CPU is overclocked and can handle the ram. You may just need to change your CPU multiplier up 2-3 notches to get where you want to be. You can choose to underclock the ram aswell to match the cpu and be stable. To do this go to the bios, change your ram settings, and disable xmp. this will run your ram at much lower frequencies if not spot on, close to what your CPU can handle and you should be fine.

If the bios update does not solve your issue, the problem has to be in the hardware, specifically the CPU or Ram, 0x124 codes are hardware related, this could be temp problems and an issue with the thermal aspect of the CPU.

okay so i just updated the bios, tried to run aion again, and it crashed. still blade and soul is working fine. no other issues that i have found. So i went back into the bios and looked for xmp, and could not find anything that said xmp or anything like that, i'm probably just missing it when looking. anyway i did lower the ram to exactly 2133mhz so hopfully that helps. gonna try to run it like this. i will keep you posted. also just a side note: when i was in bios before changing anything it did show off to the side a quick profile of my system. and it had ram speeds showing at 2133 but im not sure if thats just set that way, and then when i launch aion it does what it wants to. not sure. also when i run aion im still getting the fans ramping up pretty quickly, dont know whats causing the heat overload, they are pretty quite during all other games and activities on the pc so far. why would aion be causing this only?

" I did some research and that usually has to do with memory."
I really don't agree.

Quite simply, I think your motherboard may be defective...
Quite simply, if you install non-Asus board, your problem may be gone.

But personally I think updating bios, and all this other stuff is a complete waste of time, and won't solve anything...
(based on: hands on experience...)

So, try a Gigabyte / Intel board (my personal recommendations), and I think these problems will be over.

But, you can spend hours and hours, and days and days, trying to make the Asus board work....
But in the end, I think you will AGREE with me.
You can do it the easy way...or the painful way.

well i have tried all solutions listed. i personally love asus and i still have not seen the problem with anything else. granted, i have only been playing blade and soul. do you think i should RMA it or just try to get a refund, which im not sure is possible.

Change the motherboard. Use Intel or Gigabyte.
Then: go back to your life.

The exact reason for fans rampuing up during AION is because it only utilizes one core on the CPU causing that 1 core to be overloaded and constantly stressed most likely leading to a bottleneck.

"Loading Dump File [C:\Windows\Minidump\032016-5787-01.dmp]
Mini Kernel Dump File: Only registers and stack trace are available..."

That's usually caused by a bad driver. Try other drivers from the original manufacturer / device maker website.
How did I guess you had an Asus MB?
I suggest you change to another type board. I suggest Gigabyte or Intel.
Then I would guess all the problems are over(?) (bet you $1)

See, Ive been thru this before....and I learned it was far better to just use a different motherboard, rather than screwing around for hours/days trying to make the Asus board work...just a suggestion.
But this advice may save you a great deal of frustration.

When installing software / drivers / updates
I suggest you turn all security and firewalls OFF.
Test your install, restart the computer, turn security back ON.
Security can block (parts of) certain installations.....

But ultimately, I think you will come to the conclusion that I reached.

A. When these power saver features are enabled, it causes a bunch of problems.
B. Windows shuts down your system to sleep, hibernate, standby, etc..etc...
C. After shutting down system to "save power" the system malfunctions when you try to wake it up again...and locks up, freezes, etc...
It locks the mouse, it locks the keyboard, it shuts off the display, and locks out the hard drive, it shuts off USB devices, etc...etc...
D. This will cause you to pull your hair out, and go to the funny farm...(those nice young men in their pretty white coats)
E. Make it stop, please make it stop.
F. Shut off all these "features" and USE your computer for a change):

Click Start, Click Control Panel,
Look at the top of the window, in the path bar you see “control panel >”
Click on “>” (in the path bar) now click on “all control panel options.”
(This will open up all the hidden controls available)
Click Power Options
click on the arrow to “show other plans”
Check the Box that says "high performance"
Click (in high performance) "change plan settings"
Turn off display: set to NEVER
Put the computer to sleep: set to NEVER
Click: Change advanced plan settings
Scroll down the list: Click on the + signs to expand the choices for each item on the list.
Require a password on wake up: set to NO
Hard disk: turn off the hard disk: set to NEVER
Wireless adapter settings:
Sleep: set to NEVER
Allow Hybrid sleep: set to NEVER
Hibernate after: set to NEVER
Allow wake timers: set to disable
USB settings:
USB selective suspend setting: set to NEVER
Power Buttons and lid:
Power button action: Setting: set to shut down
Sleep Button Action: set to: do nothing
PCI Express:
Link State Power Management, Setting: OFF
Processor Power Management: Minimum state (set to) 7%

System Cooling Policy: setting: Active
Maximum State (set to) 100%
Display
Turn off display after: setting: NEVER (turning off display automatically can cause freezing also)
Turn off the monitor power manually, when you want it off. Don’t use the auto monitor turn off.
Multimedia Settings:
When Sharing Media: Setting: Prevent idling to sleep
When Playing Video: Setting: Optimize Video
Click APPLY
Click OK

Open the bios set up and make sure "cool and quiet" is OFF. (AMD)
If there is a power saver or a "quiet mode" in the bios, shut it off...
There may be a performance setting in the bios setup you have...make sure it's cranked up to max.
in the bios, see that the allocation for video, if available, is maxed.

Now open the hardware manager profiles...
click start
click computer
click system properties
click device manager
double click on mice and other pointing devices
right click on HID compliant mouse
left click on properties
click on the power management tab
UN-check the box that says: "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." (there is now NO check mark in this box)
click OK

Now repeat this procedure for all mice, monitors, keyboards, and ALL USB ports on the device manager list.

You must open ALL the devices one at a time, as above, and turn off the power saver, for each device.

NOW turn all the security back ON. NOW open your security antivirus. Make sure the antivirus is set to "gaming mode." Or "multimedia mode."
This prevents the security updating from interrupting your game / multimedia priority.
IF the security does not have "gaming mode" or "multimedia mode" get different security.
IF you are using "free" security downloaded from the internet, get rid of it NOW.
Use ONLY professional all in one security. DO NOT load multiple mismatched security programs, which conflict with each other.
DO NOT load free tools into your system such as: "driver sweeper" or any of that "free" goofy stuff.
