So every time i overclock my CPU through BIOS my system refuses to boot which forces me to clear CMOS so my only hope is OCing through Software. Using AMD Overdrive I can do Overclocks however they don't save. Any help?

PC Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE
GTX 960
12GB Crucial Ballstix
ECS A960M-1V
Windows 10 Pro

1. Learn what your changing here is a decent guide on the matter.

On a 955BE and up there is no reason you shouldn't hit 3.9 ghz Stable by just changing the Multiplier, you shouldn't have to tweak voltage or RAM timing at all unless your planning on going past that. AMD Overdrive will this for you as well.

Any time i change any settings in the BIOS it doesn't boot into Windows whether if i'm manually setting the Multiplier to its actual multiplier which is x16 + 200 Reference. As of right now its set to Auto. (Multiplier)
