I have a HP Compaq DC5700. I have upgraded it quite a bit, I dont have as much money to buy a new Gaming PC and this was dirt cheap. At the time when I bought i, I knew 0.000001% about computers or gaming in general. So I bought it instead of saving up. I want to know, is there any way to upgrade it to play any games? I added 3 Gigs of ram which is the max(4x1GB) and I added a Add2 Graphics card.

Only problem is, it has a Pcie x16 Slot BUT ONLY works with Add2 types of graphics card. SHould I cut my losses and get rid of it? Or can I upgrade it? Im not asking if I should save up as I see most replys only say to save up. Im asking if its do able, and I dont care for graphics. I just want to be able to play

That thing is less than garbage! If you paid more than $50 you were jipped.

Anyway, nothing you can do, most likely the bios won't support PCIe 2.0 or later cards, and older cards will actually be more expensive.

You can buy a usable (for circa 2006 games like cs:go) for ~$450, so don't bother with this thing
