Hey all, I've tried everything and so this is my last resort. My vid card just started randomly resetting today (which also resets the computer). I've never had these issues before. Let me list off the things I've tried:

1. Increase the fan speed to try to stop from overheating
2. Monitor heat with an application, it never went over 55 C
3. Uninstall and reinstall the drivers
4. Use older and newer drivers
5. Scan for malware
6. Check to ensure power cords are secured inside the case
7. My power supply is here It should be enough to power the system and more
8. Use testing software (furmark). The computer reset instantly upon using the test.

I think I've tried everything. Is it time to throw in the towel and realize I just need a new graphics card? I've had this one for about 2 years. I just did a new build and the only thing I recycled was this card. Any help is appreciated!

Solution
If your build has an integrated GPU then sure, shutdown, remove the power cord, and then the GPU. And see if it works fine with the iGPU.

Out of curiosity, were you able to figure it out? Or was it a problem with the graphics card and you bought a new one?
