Currently have a Kaveri APU A10-7850K with Corsair's vengeance pro memory 2400mhz..
however XMP fails every time and the system just doesn't accept 2400mhz.. says overclock failed..
On MSI A88x G45 Gaming board..
And solution?
i tried OC the Cpu and iGPU still memory deosnt go 2400mhz..
i tried OC genie..
I tried upping the voltage to 1.67v ..
Nothing works!

The A88X-G45 Gaming pushed our A10-7850K sample to 4.6 GHz at 1.45 volts with little effort. Memory overclocking wasn’t as simple; our DDR3-3000 modules only reached 2292 MT/s, in spite of the memory controller’s DDR3-2400 capability.

Primary, secondary, and tertiary timings are all packed into a single page of settings. Unfortunately, the board is programmed to use tighter-than XMP timings if the ratio drops below XMP values. That meant we had to manually configure our RAM’s rated timings in order to get as far as DDR3-2292.

It is currently running at 2133mhz.. Very stable.. At 1.64v.. No problem at all..
But i paid premium for that 2400 speed.. So why does xmp fail? N why does my system reject that freq?
Could it be that kaveri APU cannot handle 2400mhz?

1 more thing.. My bios says 2133mhz on ram, so does msi's command centre, then why does task manager report 1333mhz?
