Hi Everyone, quick question, i have the following system;

Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
MSI Z97M Gaming Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Video Card
SeaSonic G-750 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Acer XB270HU bprz 144Hz 27.0" Monitor

My friends and i are building a new pc for him and he is putting a G1 gaming 980t (same as mine) in his. Will my 750 80 gold seasonic be enough to power my system with both 980ti 's in it for a weekend? or even less time, a few hours?

PC Part Picker has no compatibility issues, i know its close in terms of power draw but will there be a change of any issues?

I dont want to risk any of our hardware but if its possible it would be good to see a pair of sli 980ti's have a crack at a 4k monitor with some high end games.

Thank you for your input!

Jarryd

Solution
For short term 750w on a good PSU like that will be ok, I am not a fan of stressing PSU's for long periods of time and always advise headroom. A PSU is the one component you don't want working at 100%
