Initial problem was getting problems with windows just freezing. Noticed that cpu temp was going above 85C.
So I removed heat sink, replaced thermal grease. Bit better but its started doing again. CPU temp still going quite high - 75C+ and getting same lockups.
Worth a new heatsink/cooler and trying this? ARCTIC one? Maybe new/bigger case fan too?
Or is it possible that I've got a stuffed CPU that just won't cool down now?
