the multimedia controller is a different problem, the reason why my sounds also cuts of randomly.
I have already uninstalled it and tried to reinstall drivers but keeps saying cannot find drivers...it is a C-Media CMI8788 driver (PCI/VEN-13F6 & DEV8788)which i have dowloaded from the manufacturers site and when i try to update it, it still says same!...now i have it in a disabled state and I use a USB sound card!

That CPU is way too hot. If you have a custom loop, check and make sure it has sufficient coolant. Also make sure the pump/fans are working. For an AIO unit, same regarding fans and pump. Check your rads to make sure they are not clogged with dust. If all seems well, make sure the block is mounted properly. You may have to redo the thermal compound on it.

Just an update.....CPU temp is still pretty high average 72C..still has flame icon next to it! It sometimes shoots up to 79-82C but then comes straight back down to around 72C, lowest has been 66C over past few hours.....
All fans are working but some dont seem to be giving me a reading?
SYS FAN : 0 RPM
CPU FAN : 2142 RPM
AUX FAN : 1130 RPM
AUX 1 FAN : 0 RPM
AUX 2 FAN : 0 RPM

Thanks

Not sure whats happening now....the AUX temp has now risen from a comfortable 45C to 62C - 70C and now going BSOD on me!!!!
CPU temp is still around 72C.
I have noticed the water isnt flowing like is was a few hours ago, seems like its got an air lock!

Do i need to do anything in Bios?

Any help?

thanks logain, your help got me this far!, now i need help with water flow!
my loop: res > rad > GPU > res
res >rad :full of water
rad > GPU : half full of water...big air bubble in top end
Block : extremely hot and water not moving!!
GPU > res : full water

but nothing flowing...however pump IS working as i can see movement in the res!!

when i rotate the system (tip forward and backwards) the air just moves around a bit! still not flowing!
Is there maybe a blockage?
it does point to the pump, however i can see this working!!...is the air bubble stopping flow?

any help ...pls!!

Can you post any photos of your loop? Sounds like you have an airlock and need to get the loop moving. When you built the loop, remember jumping the pump to fill the loop? You'll have to do something like that again.

Can you list your loop order? I'm not sure I'm following your listing above.

Edit: Also, what pump, res, rads, blocks, etc are you using?
