It should work, but you can check and see if the connector comes apart. Because most times they will split(a 8 pin split into two 4 pins).

I think you have it backwards as his PSU only has a 4 pin but the board has an 8 pin connector.
To the OP, you need to have a full 8 pin CPU connector (Many times the 2 4 pins split as mentioned above and become an 8 pin. What PSU and motherboard are you using? If your PSU doesn't have an 8 pin, you should buy a new PSU.

That PSU is junk, and it also doesn't have the 8 pin connection. THat said that processor is low wattage, you could survive using only 4 pins. You should consider a new PSU from Seasonic, XFX, Superflower, EVGA (B2/G2/P2 only), Antec Earthwatts.

A single EPS 4-pin can supply 144 watts. Your 65 watt Kaveri can easily run with one 4-pin in the board. I don't recommend overclocking it unless you get a PSU with an 8-pin. Your PSU is total junk. You need to replace it anyways.

No, I'm saying it can run with only a 4-pin if you are not overclocking and you have a good power supply. But you don't have a good power supply. Your CiT PSU is terrible and a fire hazard.

Yes I am saying it will work, but it is REALLY bad quality and a risk to use. If you need to get it working now then sure, but I would replace it with one of my suggestions immediately.
