i am using a pci tp link in my pc. My pc is upstairs and the router is downstairs, i may not understand the question , i do not know much in this domain , and i am sorry.

No sorry i havnt, with the interference may it be other devices connected to wifi? i dont know how to change channel sry.

on wireless you could have a neighbourg that use the same channel so signal got lost or drop even if someone is using a micro wave in home or any other wireless device that will affect you ,since this is radio waves . you need to check it wired directly connect to router to see if speed still the same using dsl speedtest .

i have tried turning all wave sending devices and turning wifi off on other devices....But i still do not get a differnce.....Perhaps may it be the positioning of my antennas on the tp link on my pc, i am upstairs and the router is downstair....thx for your replies.
