I have a Chromebook. After using a 64GB USB drive a few times without any problems, it now seems to be constantly reading (the built in LED on the drive continually flickers). The video files on the drive will no longer play for more than a few seconds at a time without stopping for several seconds. I've always been very careful about removing the drive properly.

Hey there, pr12345.

It is good that you're always removing the USB connected devices properly (by ejecting them before you disconnect them), but sometimes your files or the partition might become corrupted. I'd recommend that you reformat the USB flash drive, to see if the same thing happens. If you don't want to reformat it, you can try scanning it for viruses and malware. You could also try it with a different computer, to see if the same thing happens.

Hope that helps.
