If I have 4 fans in my case, should I make it have 3 intakes and 1 exhaust, 2 intakes and 2 exhaust, or 1 intake and 3 exhaust?

Update: There are two front fans, one on the top, and one on the back.

Solution

Well, if the case came with the fans, they are likely already set up correctly- two front intakes and rear and top exhaust.
Instead of focusing on how many you should look at where the fan is

Front and bottom case fans should always be intake. Top and back should always be exhaust. Side should always intake and shouldn't move allot of air. The bigger the side fan the better as they are designed to stir the air, not push it.

depends on the fan placement and if your case is top open. if there a fan spot on the bottom and the case top is open. set that fan to pull cold air in and blow hot air out the top. the front fan most times is to pull cold air over hard drives. top case want fans to blow out.
