Windows not recognizing all my ram in taskmgr

My task manager is running at 75% at all given times. And when i look at how much is being used it tells me that 1.5/2 Gigs is being used. I have 4 gigs of ram in my computer could anyone explain why this is happening or how to fix it?

it shows 4GB installed but 2GB as "reserved".
are you using an APU that shares memory for video processing?

Am I too guess you are using a 64 bit version of Windows?

Check and see what the bios is reporting. and maybe try to remove and reinstall your memory(check your board manual to ensure they are in the recommended slots.).
