Hi everyone,

I would like to upgrade my PC with a better graphic card, but unfortunately my technical knowledge sort of seems to end here. I know my specs but I am simply not sure which graphic card would fit best, and of course deliver the best results..

My Budget:
< € 175

My tasks:
Videogames (Dying Light, Cities Skylines, etc - Resolution 1920x1080), faster Video-rendering (After Effects), Picture editing,..

My tech. Specs:
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i5 650 @ 3.20GHz
Clarkdale 32nm Technology
RAM
8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
MEDIONPC MS-7658 (CPU 1)
Graphics
VX279 (1920x1080@60Hz)
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 5570 (Sapphire/PCPartner)
Storage
931GB Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 (SATA)
465GB Hitachi HTS545050B9A300 USB Device (USB (SATA))
931GB Intenso USB 3.0 Device USB Device (USB (SATA))
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50
Audio
High Definition Audio-Gerät
PSU
Model No: FSP350-60EMDN
DC Output: 350Watt

I am aware that the PSU might quite limiting, but perhaps there is still a better and newer graphics card that would result in a proper upgrade. Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks!

GTX 750ti Is probably the highest its worth going. Theres also the new asus 950 which is capped at 75w.

Ultimately, your computer is at the point where its worth upgrading the CPU/Mobo/RAM, getting a SSD etc. Might be worth considering a new build, which would be considerably faster for not only gaming but for the video editing and rendering etc.

Ah thank you so much! You are actually very correct.. maybe it is not the wisest to spend so much on a graphic card that is just about compatible with the current setup.
Would you have perhaps a suggestion for one cheaper than €100? I'm not planning to get an entire new system for another year at least, so this upgrade would help at least until then..

Many thanks once again! You really helped me already..
