I have an asus p8p67 le motherboard. i5 2500k. 8 gb of ram, only 4gb shows up in bios. Computer boots into bios. Freezes when installing windows. I have tried a windows 7 and windows 10 iso. I tried 2 different windows 10 iso. I have tried rufus, and wintoflash. Neither has worked. Computer was a used unit that was previously used (and worked). I am using an intel 128 gb ssd, and a 1 tb harddrive. I also tried installing windows on ssd on different computer and it worked, however when I put it into my new one it bluescreened, after that it showed a windows recovery window, but when I click on recover it freezes. All of the installs will freeze after I click next, and then install windows. The usb boot drives activity light stops. I am using a usb bootable drive. I have also tried multiple graphics cards. But could it be the ram?

Solution
If you have 8gb ram, and only 4gb is showing. One of your ram sticks is bad. Try again using only a single stick of ram. If it doesn't work try the other.
