You already have that rig?
In general, upgrading your motherboard doesn't improve performance, but with the FX series CPU's, some motherboard have too poor VRM designs and cannot run the CPU properly.

If you're planning on buying those components though, the best option would be something like MSI 970 GAMING, or the same as i have, the GA-970A-UD3P from Gigabyte.

I do recommend getting an i5-4460 over any FX cpu, if you can afford it.
