Hello everyone;

I have MSI Gaming 3 H97 mobo. I'm using Samsung Evo 120 GB SSD and Caviar Green 1TB HDD. I want to upgrade my system as storage. For this; I want to add 2x2 TB Barracuda (no RAID) and 2x500 GB SSD (no RAID for now, I prefered to get 2x500 instead of 1x1TB because of failure tolerance).

So my question is; will the mobo able to handle all these (six) harddrives?
And also, do you have any suggestions about SSD RAID?

Thank you in advance.

Solution
The motherboard has 6 SATA III ports, so it'll handle the drives just fine. As for SSD RAID, I don't see the point unless you are having to store absolutely vital data in large quantities and then run it in RAID 1 or 10, as you only gain the fault tolerance but not much of a speed advantage
