Intel I3 3220 vs I3 2120 for gaming

Where would I find the best deal on a i5 2500k or 2400?

So I wouldn't notice a difference at all in gaming performance, like literally no fps difference?

Unfortunately my motherboard is a dell h61 with a lga 1155 socket I got the desktop free and put about $213 and it runs COD Black Ops III at 1080p mostly medium settings with a few turned off and I get a pretty steady 60 fps ( I think I might have frame limiting on set to 60 fps so I might get more) so you're right I should try GTAV before I buy a cpu. Does anyone on this thread play gtav or have friends with a similar setup?

As you can see I meet the recommended requirements for the gpu but not even close to the cpu recommended requirements

I didn't even look the q6600 up so thanks for pointing that out to me I'm still interested in a cheaper i5 because I can tell my cpu is having a hard time keeping up with thinks like simple multitasking and I have an ssd as my boot drive.

So I have around $65 in my Amazon account and I'm going to buy a Amazon gift card if I need to which is why I want to buy a used i5 on Amazon, si is this a good option if I buy the cpu used from 3d party sellers?
