Hello.

This is my system:
Gigabyte G1 Gaming, R9 380
I5-4460 3.2 GHz
Z87 pro v-edition motherboard
Seasonic 550W Gold power supply
16 GB 1866 Mhz memory

Recently I downloaded gigabyte's bios flash utility which told me my bios version was F40.
I wanted to update BIOS cause I was getting very bad performance around games and such, so I went to this website: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5462&dl=1&RWD=0#bios
And I downloaded the F42 version of BIOS and used their own utility to flash it.
Now my PC wont turn on and it displays the B2 ROM initialization error.

I can't flash it back, because it wont turn on! Please help!

EDIT: Also, my motherboard BIOS us updated to the newest, 2103 revision

Solution
pull the gpu and the onboard video should come on fine. if it does go into the bios set the ipgpu as first video output. then look at the model of your gpu and the flash you used make sure it the same video card.
GV-R938G1 GAMING-4GD
if it not make sure you get the right bios for it.
on some of the newer amd gpu check to see if there a bios revover switch on top of the card. see if the back up bios will work.

The card has a built in backplate, and I dont know where the switch is supposed to be?

The website I included is for my GPU, and I updated from version F40 to F42, I am pretty certain they are both valid for my GPU.

Now, I think this is the version I had before: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/176932/gigabyte-r9380-4096-150709.html

So how do I flash back to it when I can't really turn the PC back on to run the utility again?

What does this Source ATI version mean? Does it mean which version I had to have before the update?
I am asking because the BIOS I flashed to states 015.049.000.011 as the ATi source Bios version, and mine was
015.049.000.003

Is that the issue, if so how do I fix it?

EDIT: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/index.php?architecture=&manufacturer=Gigabyte&model=&interface=&memType=&memSize=&did=1002-6939--0000%2C1002-6939--049a%2C1002-6939--04e3%2C1002-6939--200f%2C1002-6939--2015%2C1002-6939--22b6%2C1002-6939--22bb%2C1002-6939--22c0%2C1002-6939--2359%2C1002-6939--9380%2C1002-6939--e306%2C1002-6939--e308

That is a list of BIOS versions for my GPU on that website, the one I flashed to isn't located there, but the one I had before the flash (F40) is. So I guess it is safe to assume I simply flashed to a wrong version? But how do I fix it?

Welp, it seems my GPU is dead and can't be helped.

I set my iGPU as the default and managed to turn the PC on, created a bootable USB and put my bios and atiflash on it. Now when I boot from the USB atiflash runs as it should, but when I try to identify it with "atiflash -i" or "atiflash -ai" it says "adapter not found". If I try to flash it it drops error 0fl01

From what I've heard this can't be fixed. One thing I find weird is that even though it can't locate it, the device automaticaly instals the correct driver for the device, even though it is bricked. If anybody has any ideas, please help.

As luck would have it, I managed to revive the GPU in the spirit of Easter.

Using Atiwinflash I somehow managed to blindflash the GPU to the version that was previously there, and even though I still can't find the adapter using atiflash or recognize the actual version with atiwinflash, the GPU works just fine as it did before.
