I had bought an AMD R9 290 in November of last year (in 2014) and had this issue around 3 months in then it stopped for a while and now it's back. When ever I am playing a game, watching Netflix/YouTube, working in any Adobe program it normally crashes. What happens: the screen goes black, then puts a invisible window up followed by a sound loop, then I have to CTR-ALT-DEL and pull up task manager then end the task I am using. It's really annoying when I am working on something and forget to save and it crashes.
