Is there any program to monitor the temperature of the CPU with software currently on the new F5G OC'ing BIOS for my z170 DH3P motherboard?
I am currently running an EVGA super nova 750 80 plus bronze certified, the motherboard above, intel i5-6400 @ 4.38 GHZ on a cooler master hyper 212 evo. I am using a Vcore of 1.325V and am keeping my memory slightly under the clock rating that they are sold at, and have seen no difference in performance lowering the RAM's clock speed slightly (I have 16GB DDR4 2400MHZ). I need to know because after running the Prime 95 CPU stress test blend test i quickly (SSD) booted down and got into the BIOS and saw the temp was only 35C so either i have hit the proverbial silicon lottery, or the CPU in the time that the computer took to get to the BIOS cooled down.
I would also like to know how far i can push the i5-6400 safely on the Hyper 212 Evo with the results that i have been receiving or a program that would let me monitor the temps then i could make sure i am not killing the CPU!
Thanks for the help again and again, this forum is the best!
