im going to get a ssd and hhd for my new pc but i have an amd processors. all the builds with the ssd and hdd combo uses an intel processor so would it still work with an amd processor

Yes for sure if they are both SATA based drives. There are very few AMD boards with M.2 Slots for a M.2 SSD though.

I think you may be refering to the SSD Casheing by using an intel chipset. If that is the case then no that can't be done though hardware like you can on intel. you need 3rd party software at least the last time i checked.

If you just want two seperate drives like a SSD for just the OS and a HDD for Data that can be done on any PC so long as it can hold both drives.
