I was wondering if AHCI will drop the performance of a Samsung 950 Pro NVME SSD? Is it all right to mix NVME and AHCI SSDs in the same computer? Will it drop overall performance?
AHCI only works with the SATA protocol so if your SSD is using NVMe then it can't use AHCI/SATA.
yes you can it is no different than when you used to be able to mix IDE and SATA. Different protocols and connections.
