Hi, I recently built my first computer an have been super paranoid about keeping it safe ever since. Today while I was playing a game my dad started vacuuming around the house. I heard it but ignored it because I have a surge protector and thought I was fine. However, now th egam eis laoding really slow and keeps getting stuck for a few minutes when loading. Before it loaded in > then a minute, now it's been taking >5 minutes.
The game is the division so it may just be a problem of a new game but this is really sudden and for the past week the game has been loading fine. Could the vaccuum cleaner have done anything to my computer?
Thank you so much!

Doubtful the vacuum did anything to it. It's possible when using a vacuum to clean or dust out the inside of a pc to damage parts from stray esd (electrostatic discharge) but that's when having the blower tip around components or accidentally touching things. Getting a nozzle on the end of the vacuum hose close enough for static to discharge, think getting zapped by someone wearing socks walking on carpet and touching another person or a doorknob.

Otherwise just having a vacuum plugged in cleaning the floor shouldn't have any harmful effects, no more than other appliances running in the house. It's likely the game, drivers, files on the hdd or something along those lines.
