Trying to get use to using a KB&M for gaming

I have for the most part always used controllers for gaming. If the game didn't support the options I usually have steered clear until the game got a console release.

The only games I have played with KB & M are city simulations and select RTS. But I'm trying to get used to the KB &M because I'm tired of getting beat when I do sometime play online FPS.

My problem is finger strain in my left hand. using the WASD keys. So I decided to pick up of razor Tartarus KB and Naga wireless mice.

I guess my question is... It's this a good choice to try and get used to using a KB&M. Also know I just have to get used to the set up. But if anyone has any recommedation that would be great. So far I've enjoyed play RTS with just the mouse.

Here is what I have

Don't know any ergonomic gaming keyboards, but a regular ergonomic one will work just as fine for gaming as any other one really. I have never used a "gaming" keyboard and been playing computer games since the mid 80s LOL

This may be good, don't know the price, but I'm guessing it will be a bit https://www.trulyergonomic.com/store/index.php

Maybe this thing for some light bling http://www.fentek-ind.com/ergo_illuminated.htm#.VvVDFdIrLRY I'm...

The tartaurs is some what comfortable trying learn to use the feature. I think will help. But are there any ergonomic gaming KB you can recommend?

Thank's I think for the most part I need to get just used to play with a KB&M it could be that I never used muscles and joint in those finger and I have to break them in lol. I guess if you compete or play online a lot with FPS or RTS then I guess that's when you'd consider a high end mechanical keyboard right?

That depends on your Preferences, i personally use a semi flat Rubberdome(Sidewinder X4) because i find it more comfortable and it is easier to transport.

As for an ergonomical Keyboard, try positioning youre current one at an Angle first, as you dont need both sides angled while playing.
