Memory Usage in Task Manager DOESNT ADD UP

My laptop' Ram usage is always high and whenever I look at Task Manager the Ram Usage doesnt add up

If you add up the Memory Usage on my laptop with the screenshot above, It would only ADD UP TO AROUND 600-700 MB OF RAM USAGE,

meanwhile I have 4 GB of ram storage, I am missing around 2 GB of RAM Usage

Also When the Scanner is not running my IDLE RAM USAGE IS around 50-60%!

If anyone knows whats going on please help!

I dont think I have an AMD apu, my display adapter is Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

Intel graphics also use up ram, but they only go up to 1.7gb. That is under a heavy load not idle. Have you use ram map?

I too have noticed this, about 50% of ram is used constantly, read somewhere that it's no cause for alarm though. Downloaded Rammap and don't understand all of it. It adds up though.
