My desktop is an Acer Aspire AXC-603G-UW12. Its a good computer, but Im starting to move to the larger games. I have already researched the RAM upgrades I need, but I cant find anything that tells me whether or not my desktop has a removable/upgradable graphics card. Im looking to get the best, or close to it, that this comp will handle.

Im very ignorant to all things computer, but I found a website called "crucial" while looking for RAM upgrades. under video card it simply said "PCI Express x16" and "external connector" is a "15 hole connector". I dont know if that means I can take it out or not, but Im sure some of you smart people might know. I look forward to your replies. Thank you all very much.

That's a business pc that is also small form factor, the only gpu card that could fit and run with that pc would never run latest large games smoothly. You would need a low end graphics card that does not require pci-e power plugs( the power supply in those cases won't have pci-e cables for a high end card) and is a low profile short card to fit inside that tiny case. so you can't upgrade a better power supply either cause that pc has a non standard psu size. All in all this pc could never be a gaming pc with those restrictions and throwing money at it to get parts that will suit it will never make the pc run these games very well and most not at all. forget it, sell it and buy a gamers type pc .

Maybe this will disappoint you but if...

A couple things you'll have to consider it the profile of the GPU and the power requirements of the GPU.
Pop the side panel off your PC and check the mother board to make sure you have a PCIe slot (if you aren't sure what it is, look it up) and check and see what PSU you have (some GPUs require extra power straight from the PSU). You need to check and see how large the GPU can be before getting one. The PC I found looks like a fairly small chassis.

We'll need the PSU model and the motherboard model (you should be able to use a program like CPU-Z to get the motherboard make/model).
Also, what kid of game will you be playing on this PC?

Maybe this will disappoint you but if you can throw hundreds at it and it still won't do what you want at a acceptable level, it would be a waste, when you could sell that and add that cash to your total to buy a better solution for your needs. I have learnt over time that buying half measures are usually regrettable later and you won't get that money back on resale either.
