I tried to update my Intel Wifi driver without my laptop manufacturer's official update and now I can't switch on my wifi adapter on or off. Help, I'm on LAN right now but its very short
Goto laptop manufacturers website and download your wifi drivers. Once you have done that go to device manager and uninstall your current wifi driver. Reboot and install the new driver and it should work.

Thanks, though I fixed it already a quick bit after I posted, that really was what I did and I'm a little weirded out by how my laptop manufacturer won't update compatible drivers to the latest.
