Router username and password

Hello, I cannot find my routers username and password. I tried almost eveything and many sites. My router is Cisco EPC3940AD. All help is appreciated.

If you reset the gateway you may remove settings required to make your internet work. It all depends on how your service provider sets up their gateways. Look on the gateway itself for any stickers with a password on it. They usually put a URL or IP address followed by a password. If you can't find that then only option is to contact the service provider.

That is a Wireless Residential Gateway which tells me that it likely came from a carrier like Comcast or Charter or someone similar. They often change the default user name and password and sometimes do not share that with customers. You would need to call them to get into it or they will make the changes you want.

Or, is this one you purchased yourself?
