I searched it on the internet, but it makes me confused.

When is video editing faster?
- The video edit program is on the ssd
- The footage is on the ssd
- Both
And if it is both, what is going to be faster? Footage loading, rendering, loading time (Sony Vegas/Premiere), ect.

The programm on your ssd would make the startup a lot faster and maybe some overlays, the raw footage on your ssd doesn't make a difrence exept you use a really old hard drive, if you render to a ssd it could speed it up a bit but thats only with a 6th gen i7 minimum otherwhise only a slight inprovement.
