Hello.
My cpu have recently begun to throttle causing my core speed to drop from 3.96Ghz to around 1.39Ghz and I believe it is due to my vrm getting overheated. my cpu temp is all good, around 50-60 celcius when gaming. My motherboard temp is around 35 celcius aswell. I have disabled all powersaving functions in my MOBO and turned off turbo core. My powerplan in on maximum performance. Since im pretty its my vrm's getting too hot, my question is, how do I cool them down?? I cant possibly put a sidefan blowing directly into it. There is no way to make air blow into it.

(CPU stock core)

my rig:

Asrock 970 extreme4
Amd fx 8350
16GB ram
Gtx 660 twinfrozr
500Watt PSU

Solution
if vrm are over heating, you need to cool them. top down airflow cpu cooler or get a fan on it. the board supports your cpu but not good 4 oc.
