Which gtx 950 model is the best for money?

I am looking for the fastest gtx 950. I know its probably not a good decision to buy a graphics card right now seeing as there are rumors floating around that there are going to be new cards coming out around June, but I am kind of in a hurry to get one. I am looking one that I might be able to overclock a little, but this would be my first time trying to overclock something. So, I would want one with a pretty high base clock just in case I don't decide to overclock it. Any ideas? The amount of power it draws is not part of it I have to buy a new power supply anyway.

If you had to reccomend me a 960 to get what would you reccomend me get? Does the 4gb compared to the 2gb matter if I am just going to use it on 1080 gaming?

Yeah, 2GB is sufficient for most games, but if you like to crank up the settings (A-A, DoF, textures, etc) you'll be better off with the 4GB models. This is the GTX 960 I have. It was the fastest out-of-the-box 960 at the time I bought it.

230 is a bit out of my price range as far as gpus. the clock speeds seem to be quite a bit slower than the 950 you reccomended me, and the 950 is the newer gpu so wouldnt it have the better performance. Theres probably something obvious im missing, but I dont know.

There are other factors that make the GTX 960 superior to the GTX 950. The 950 is basically a cut-down 960.
1024 cores vs 768 cores
8 streaming processors vs 6 streaming processors
64 texture units vs 48 texture units
Basically it is about a one-third reduction. The 960 will always be a better gamer than the 950.

Ok thank you for your input on that one last question. How good do you think the asus geforce gtx 960 turbo is? Do you think I should get the 2 GB or 4GB. I will be using it for 1080p gaming.

I've had one Asus card in the past. It was an excellent gfx card. Asus is one of the best manufacturers of cards and boards. If you can afford the 4GB, get it. If not, get the 2GB GTX 960 over the 4GB GTX 950.
