Well i finished the build last night well nearly finished just waiting on 2 fans to come for the h100i cooler..
I want to get the pc up and running ready for when the fans come so i was wondering would it be ok to boot my 6600k up with a stock cooler from my mates 4690k
Im not even sure if its going to boot as this is my first build and may need some guidance along the way im going to try and get it to boot up and start installing windows & drivers ect'
I will get the pc out just now and take some pics to show you how far along i am
Spec:
I5 6600k
Asrock z170 Fatality gaming K4/D3
2x8gb corsair ddr3 2400mhz
Samsung 850 evo 250gb
Corsair hx620w psu ---temporary
Corsair h100i cooler---once the fans arrive
Nzxt noctis 450
I cant decide on the gpu/gfx card but once the pc is all up and running i will soon get one.
So how should i go about booting the pc up is there anything to check before i go ahead
