Hi, I've been looking up to some cheap gpu to upgrade my close-to-death HD5450 512mb, I'm not interested in 1080p maxed out settings gaming so I don't need a top of the notch card. The price range is 50 euros and the gpus I've been considering are: gt610, gt710, gt720, r5 230.
The "target game" to play would be The Witcher 2 because the experience on the old card was terrible, so I'd like to be able to play the game on the new card.

My specs:
CPU: Intel Pentium E5200 2.50ghz dual core
RAM: 4gb ddr2
PSU: 450W (with no free power cable so the new card has to be only powered through PCI-E)
Windows 7 Pro 32 bit.

[First post so sorry if there's something wrong with it]

The processor is nearing it's death for staying up to date with today's demands, and the socket type is too outdated for a simple upgrade. My best suggestion would be to save up a bit longer for a good combo deal on a motherboard and CPU and get a cheap graphics card then - but if you want a quick patchup to play the Witcher now then I guess the 720 is your best option you listed, though it still won't run very well honestly

I don't want to spend too much on this pc (it's only going to serve for a couple more months) so I'll stick with the 720, thanks!

P.s. I may consider overclocking the cpu a bit for better performance.
