I thinking about mogo change: b85 chipset to H or Z. Which is the best to my processor and ram modules?

Hello everybody.

I have an i5-4570 processor and a gigabyte b85-d3h motherboard and 16 gb 1600 mhz ram (four module, two red crucial vengeance, and two black crucial vengeance). My question is that should I upgrade my mobo to an H or Z type chipset or not?

Solution
There would not be any noticeable performance differences.

B and H class boards can't overclock (mostly), some of the H class boards will support Crossfire.
Z class boards can overclock, often the only way to get SLI support.

B85, H81, H87, Z87, H97, Z97.

Beyond that the cost of the motherboards comes down to included features and occasionally bundled software. So you would be paying for extra SATA ports, Sata Express, M.2 slots, maybe a PLX chip for Tri and Quad SLI/Crossfire on the very high end.

it would gain you nothing but specific motherboard features they could have that your current mobo lacks

if you intend to upgrade to a K version i5 or i7 to overclock, then it is a good idea
