So, I have an alienware 17 with 8 gig ram (2x4G)( bought in late november 2014).I went to the dell website and looked at certified ram. The ram i could use for upgrade ( which was certified by dell) was an 8 gig ram ( Links Below). I looked at amazon and bought one that was dell certified and i believe was the exact same one (Links below). I just got it and put it into my laptop ( i followed the video on the dell support website). my labtop beeped twice when i put everything back in( which means it cannot detect ram). When i put back in my 4 gig ram, It worked. How do i fix this?
