Mail in Rebate Expiration?

I plan on buying 5 parts from NCIX and 2 of them have Mail in Rebates. They both expire on the 31st of March.

Is the expiration date based on when the item was purchased or the date that I mail the receipt to them?

For example, if I was to order the parts on March 30th, would I still be eligible for the rebate (even if I don't end up sending them the receipt until I receive my parts sometime in April) ?

Thanks in advance!

You have to read the actual rebate form. Generally there will by two dates which you have to comply with, the purchase date and the rebate form postmark date. Usually the rebate form postmark date is about 30 days from the last allowed purchase date. Be sure and make xerox copies of of your completed rebate form and all enclosed materials, cut out UPC labels, etc. Follow the instructions exactly, e.g. if it says cut it out and don't peel it off, then do that.

This depends 100% on the actual terms of that particular mail in rebate.
Either purchase by Date X, or send the stuff in by Date X.

What does this one say?

Thank you, I found out that they must be purchased by the 31st, and postmarked within 30 days of the purchase. I'm a little confused with the EVGA MIR though, as my graphics card is listed with a $30 MIR but on the information sheet it says the rebate amount is $40 (see screenshot below) . Do you know anything about this?

That part on the right is informational only. Your rebate will be $30.
